I've been dating my girlfriend for 5 months and it's a very strange relationship. I believe that at in ur late 20's and early 30's you've dated enough ppl to know what ur looking for in a mate. He doesn't seem to have any wounds from past relationships which would make him nervous about being in a relationship. He's been legitimately pretty busy, but also a little flaky when it comes to making plans, and sometimes I feel as though I'm chasing him or reminding him of my existence.
